The geopolitical game theory is unfolding in real time. Each week brings new rumors—small, medium, and even major states are reportedly exploring Bitcoin as part of their national strategy. Will the U.S. take the lead with the SBR? Could the Czech National Bank start stacking sats? As we step into 2025, the global landscape is ripe for sovereign adoption. This session dives into the signals, the speculation, and the strategic moves that could define the next phase of Bitcoin’s evolution on the world stage.

Bitcoin is Demonetizing Other Asset Classes
As Bitcoin matures into a globally recognized store of value, it's starting to absorb monetary premiums from traditional asset classes. Real estate, gold, bonds—even equities—are being re-evaluated as capital no longer needs to hide in inefficient or inflation-prone instruments. This session explores how Bitcoin is gradually demonetizing other assets, reshaping portfolio theory, and forcing both institutional and retail investors to rethink capital allocation in a Bitcoin standard world.

Europe’s energy crisis has exposed the flaws of centralized planning and short-sighted green policies. Bitcoin offers a new path—one where energy and money are aligned. This session explores how mining can incentivize local energy production, support grid balancing, and unlock stranded power. We’ll cover legal precedents, policy threats, and the latest in mining tech like Stratum V2. As the world rethinks energy and sovereignty, Bitcoin is emerging as a bridge between the two.

Behind every boardroom breakthrough is someone who took the first step. This session is for the courageous individuals bringing Bitcoin into traditional industries—often as the lone voice in the room. We’ll hear stories of professionals who made the leap, navigated internal resistance, and became trusted in-house resources. Whether you're just starting your Bitcoin journey or already driving change inside your company, this session will give you the knowledge—and confidence—to lead from within.

Different ways to handle Bitcoin Custody
From self-custody to regulated custodians, from collaborative multisig to institutional vaulting—Bitcoin custody is not one-size-fits-all. For companies, funds, service providers, and individuals alike, the question isn’t just how to hold Bitcoin—it’s who should hold it, under what model, and why?
This panel brings together experts covering every layer of the custody stack to break down:
The tradeoffs between control, convenience, and compliance
How institutions are approaching custodianship in 2025
What custody models are emerging for miners, businesses, and high-net-worth individuals
The role of multisig, collaborative custody, and new infrastructure solutions
Why choosing the right custody path is mission-critical for security and trust
If you’re serious about holding—or securing—Bitcoin at scale, this is the panel that covers it all.

Bitcoin in the Age of Narrative Warfare
How media framing and platform fragmentation are shaping the next era of Bitcoin adoption.
1. The era of centralized narratives is over: I saw this firsthand in the early 2000s music industry when torrenting and streaming shattered traditional power structures. Labels tried to buy relevance, but they couldn't stop the shift. Media is now facing the same. The difference? Today, solo creators have more tools, more reach and Bitcoin.
2. Bitcoin framing in legacy media: Financial outlets see Bitcoin through their own lens: macro, price, institutions. That’s useful for adoption, even if it’s narrow. But we’re entering an era of narrative fragmentation. Each audience will see Bitcoin differently. Not everyone will "get it" and that’s okay.
3. The rise of the “Bitcoin Elite” narrative: Media increasingly casts Bitcoiners as part of a new financial elite. It’s a shift from portraying Bitcoin as a threat to power, to painting it as a tool of privilege.

Practicing Cypherpunk: Privacy, Peer-to-Peer, and Staying Free with Bitcoin
Bitcoin was born from cypherpunk ideals: privacy, decentralization, and peer-to-peer freedom. But as nation-states and institutions start stacking sats, many are asking—is the original vision slipping away?
This panel brings together early builders and privacy advocates to explore what cypherpunk philosophy still means in 2025—and how it can be preserved in a world of KYC, surveillance, and corporate co-option.
Led by OG cypherpunk Juraj Bednár, the conversation features:
Is Bitcoin more a social or technological revolution?
Why P2P, non-KYC Bitcoin still matters
How individuals can take practical steps to protect privacy, sovereignty, and signal in an increasingly centralized world
This isn’t nostalgia—it’s a reminder of why we’re here, how to use the tools, and what’s at stake if we forget.

Cypherpunks vs. Institutions: Who Owns Bitcoin’s Future?
The year 2025 marks a shift in the global Bitcoin sentiment. We may be crossing the chasm—from late adopters to early majority, and more critically, into the hands of institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and nation-states. ETFs, regulatory frameworks, and elite capital are reshaping the narrative.
But is this Bitcoin’s natural evolution—or a threat to its cypherpunk roots?
This debate gives voice to both sides of the aisle. The cypherpunk camp will defend the core values of privacy, censorship resistance, and grassroots scaling. Meanwhile, institutional advocates will argue that integration with the traditional financial system is inevitable—and even necessary for global adoption.
Who’s right? Will Bitcoin stay a tool for sovereign individuals, or become another layer of the legacy system? In 30 years, will we have real no-KYC self-custody—or will Bitcoin be ruled from within TradFi?

Is Bitcoin’s victory inevitable? That depends on how you define “victory.” Bitcoin is at risk of being reshaped in narrow and even harmful ways, and many Bitcoiners are unknowingly celebrating it. If we truly want a better world under a Bitcoin standard, it will take far more than just Number Go Up. In this piece, we’ll explore the risks and what each of us can do to help build the bright orange future.

Why Bitcoin, Not Crypto: Lessons from 2017
In 2017, the crypto boom pulled in millions with promises of fast gains, flashy whitepapers, and endless innovation. ICOs exploded, coins pumped—and then most of them vanished. Along the way, people lost not just money, but precious Bitcoin.
This panel revisits the 2017 cycle with fresh perspective:
What were the traps that even smart people fell into?
Why wasn’t it obvious at the time?
What makes Bitcoin fundamentally different from crypto then—and now?
We’ll explore the patterns that repeat every cycle, why "crypto" continues to distract from Bitcoin’s mission, and how to protect yourself and your community from the same mistakes.
Because history doesn’t repeat—but it does rhyme.

Bitcoin Imprisoned by Traditional Institutions
Bitcoin was created for financial freedom and self-sovereignty—but where are we now? It’s co-opted by institutional finance, locked in ETFs, and mostly held on centralized exchanges, where users don’t truly own their Bitcoin. The solution? Take back control. By embracing self-custody and decentralization, we can return Bitcoin to its original purpose: personal freedom and financial independence.

The Fiat Lie: Why Hard Money Is The Better Choice!
In this talk, Roman will explore the long-term effects of fiat money, highlighting how it has contributed to persistent inflation and declining economic growth. He will then contrast this with historical periods of hard money—such as the gold standard and the Bretton Woods system—which he argues fostered stronger growth, low inflation, and greater innovation. Finally, Roman will draw a connection to Bitcoin, presenting it as a modern form of hard money with the potential to restore these economic benefits. The presentation will feature compelling statistics, charts, and visuals to support his thesis.

This talk dives into the evolving global financial landscape, highlighting how digital currencies, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and geopolitical shifts are reshaping the future of money. Efrat explores how global agendas, state actors, and financial institutions are piecing together a new monetary system under the banners of innovation, security, and climate action — while often tightening control over individuals. From CBDCs to strategic Bitcoin reserves, from carbon markets to digital IDs, she maps out the fast-changing chessboard where power, technology, and sovereignty collide. Long-term security budget debate
Is Bitcoin ruled by miners, users, or node runners—or is it something more emergent and social? As debates around miner centralization and proposed economic changes (like demurrage) gain traction, one question becomes unavoidable: who should hold the power in a decentralized system? This debate explores the delicate balance of incentives, the risks of changing core rules, and whether Bitcoin’s strength lies more in its code… or its community.

Self-custody is not just a feature—it’s the foundation of Bitcoin as Satoshi intended. But for too long, it’s been seen as intimidating or overly technical. That’s changing fast.
This panel explores the new generation of self-custody tools that are easy to use, hard to lose, and designed to bring Bitcoin ownership to everyone—without compromising on privacy or security. You’ll hear from builders and thinkers creating solutions that lower the barrier to entry while preserving Bitcoin’s core principles.
Whether you're managing your own keys or building tools for others to do it safely, this session will equip you with real-world insights, best practices, and the mindset shift needed to move from custody to sovereignty.

The Future of Bitcoin Mining: Power, Incentives, and Decentralization
Bitcoin mining is the engine behind the network—but who controls that engine, and where is it heading?
In this panel, we explore how mining is evolving as the industry scales and matures. What risks come with too much power in the hands of a few large pools? Can smaller miners stay competitive? How do policy pressures, like sanctions or regulation, impact who gets to mine and which transactions get confirmed?
We’ll break down:
Why decentralization in mining still matters
How miners make decisions—and what influences them
Whether new ideas like mining incentives or protocol changes can shift the balance
What individuals and communities can do to keep mining open and censorship-resistant
If you care about Bitcoin’s long-term resilience, this conversation is one you don’t want to miss.

Bitcoin vs. Bureaucracy: Regulation, Control & the CBDC Threat
As Bitcoin rises, so does the pressure to tame it.
From sweeping regulation like Europe’s MiCA to the looming rollout of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), the battle for financial freedom is moving into the legal and institutional arena. But not everyone is playing defense.
In this panel, we bring together insiders and industry leaders navigating the regulatory battlefield.
Together, they’ll discuss how Bitcoin companies can stay sovereign, the real risks of CBDCs, and what it takes to push back against bureaucracy without getting buried by it.
If you care about the future of permissionless money, this is where the next moves are being made.

European Businesses Will Own Most of the Bitcoin
There are 25m SMEs (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) in Europe. There are only 21m Bitcoin. If every SME wanted to buy just 1 BTC, it wouldn’t be possible. As inflation rises and confidence in the Euro weakens, more businesses are turning to Bitcoin as a store of value. With an estimated €12 trillion in assets held by SMEs, a massive upward pressure on Bitcoin’s price could lie ahead of us. In this talk, I’ll explore why SMEs are at the core of the next major wave of Bitcoin adoption in Europe.

The Invisible Battle: Who Controls the Narrative of Bitcoin Education?
In this talk, Reyna, Education Director at Mi Primer Bitcoin, explores the real-world challenges of scaling Bitcoin education, sharing personal experiences from El Salvador and insights from her role supporting global collaborations. She highlights growing risks from both external and internal influences quietly attempting to co-opt Bitcoin education and consolidate control, warning that without careful attention, we may find ourselves replicating the same centralization issues that Bitcoin seeks to escape. Reyna will discuss the importance of decentralized, open-source education, confronting diplomatic, political, and financial obstacles impacting Bitcoin adoption. This session will offer insights on how we can preserve the independence and integrity of Bitcoin education while ensuring it remains accessible, decentralized, and free from external influence.

Privacy as a Shield: Strengthening Security Through Bitcoin and Self-Custody
This talk explores how privacy transforms security by lowering defensive costs while raising the stakes for attackers. It examines critical areas like financial sovereignty, personal data control, and secure communication, and how privacy-preserving tools elevate these domains. Attendees will learn practical applications of Bitcoin for censorship-resistant transactions, self-custody wallets to reclaim asset ownership, and encryption frameworks to safeguard digital lives. The session blends theory with actionable steps, demonstrating how decentralized technologies empower individuals to neutralize surveillance and institutional overreach. Real-world examples will highlight the risks of poor privacy hygiene and the tangible benefits of adopting tools that prioritize user autonomy.

Energy, the flip side of money
In this talk, Pierre will present the key take aways from his latest book.
1) Energy is everywhere in many different forms: heat, matter, waves. Anything that has a mass, like a particle or an object, is a condensed form of energy while waves and heat are more diffuse forms of energy.
2) Energy self-organize in open systems called dissipative structures such as particles, atoms, molecules, ore, living beings, planets and the universe itself. Typically, a dissipative structure is embedded in a larger one, e.g an animal is a dissipative structure made of cells and part of a species, cells and species are also dissipative structures.
3) Dissipative structures, in turn, self-organize to maximize the flow of energy going through them. This is called the 3rd principle of thermodynamics aka the principle of maximum entropy production.
4) The 3 principles of thermodynamics (the science of energy) explain how nature works, including individual and social behavior in the human species and how a monetary system reduces the entropy of its users.

Many see the rise of Bitcoin as a store of value—with institutional giants like BlackRock entering the space—as the death of its cypherpunk dream. I argue the opposite. The path to Bitcoin as a global medium of exchange requires its consolidation as a store of value first. ETFs, corporate adoption, and even sovereign holdings aren’t diversions from the original vision, but necessary steps to make Bitcoin truly viable for everyday transactions.

Blocking international transactions is a very common thing that affects most people.

Realistically, living on crypto is getting easier every year than on fiat. That is why it is high time to break away from it.

Behind the China Firewall: Will Bitcoin help in trade wars?
Despite mining bans and tight capital controls, China remains a silent force in Bitcoin. In this fireside chat with Roger Huang and Jack Lee we dive into what’s really happening behind the scenes. How are individuals, corporations, and shadow investors in China engaging with Bitcoin? Could Bitcoin become a tool for China in the global power game—especially in response to tariffs and Western financial dominance? And how does the Chinese government really view Bitcoin: as a threat, a tool, or a strategic hedge?

Facts and Myths about Bitcoin
Will Bitcoin burn the planet? Is it really just a tool for criminals? Who's running it? Can governments ban it? And what about quantum computers that are supposedly going to destroy it one day? Bitcoin is shrouded in a lot of myths and half-truths that are repeated over and over again.
In this short but packed talk, we'll take a look at the most common ones - and, with hindsight, either confirm or definitively shatter them. A bit like Mythbusters, but without the explosions. If you're thinking about Bitcoin but aren't sure what to actually think about it, this lecture is for you. Facts instead of scaremongering, in a clear way and without technical ballast.
